I have worked with individuals, couples and families, around relationship and mental health concerns for close to 20 years. I have worked in a number of different fields such as Child Welfare, Public Education, Mental Health (Hospital setting), and as an E.A.P. counselor.
A graduate of the University of Waterloo (1998), Carleton University (2003), and Guelph University (2009); with a Masters of Social Work, Bachelors of Social Development Studies, and a Certificate in Couple and Family Therapy Studies; making the Dean’s Honor List in 1999.
Trained as an Emotion Focused Therapist and in the area of Developmental Attachment, I have dedicated my efforts to understanding Emotions; how they develop and how they interplay with those we care about.
I am an avid cyclist, kayaker, and grandfather to two great children.
When not in my office, I can be found on the road cycling, on the water kayaking or playing with my grandkids.
